I’m right in the thick of editing interviews for my upcoming book on women in small business. Something I keep seeing, during this process is how important small businesses are in the rich tapestry that is community. Here is a snapshot of things I discovered.

Hello! Thank you so much for coming to visit my blog. Today’s subject is about feeling like a failure. This has been coming up a lot for me lately and for people around me too, so I thought it was worthy of a bit of exploration.

So, can we stay healthy and fit even if our jobs keep us pinned to a desk? Yes! Absolutely I believe we can.

Recently I was lucky enough to attend Berry Writer’s Festival, my first writer’s festival ever! And yes, I may have bought one or two new books. It would’ve been rude not to!

There are days when I’m powering away blissfully in a flow, writing and editing, and kicking some serious writing butt. Then without notice, the world falls apart. Some strategies to keep me on track from two of my favourite authors.

This was what I wanted to do – I would interview businesswomen who were doing what they loved and share their unique stories with others who might have similar questions or a desire to start a business.

You may know from my last post that I’m currently at the gathering information stage for an anthology that I’m compiling called Take the First Step, Unique and Inspiring Stories of Women in Small Business.
